Re: New year goals for your business....if any?

I have to much work...
In december I started putting prices up more or less across the board.
thus far I have put up about  170 customers and lost 3
of course my goal is always to make more money , but my main focus realy is to make life easier both physicaly and mentaly.

I believe the mental aspect very important...... I expect we all have those jobs that for some reason, we dont like doing them.
whether it be awqward windows , plant pots , cars parked , steps, or slow payers
fortunately I dont have many, but the few I have are going....
it feels so nice not to have them draining me mentaly on the days they are due

So how many days/hours do you window clean in a typical week?

The great thing about too much work is you can be bolder with price rises.

I put prices up in April at the start of the new tax year. I feel this is the best time to do it.

Do you still put them  up every 3 years (think I recall you saying its every 3  like me) or are they more frequent  now?

I keep it at around  25 hours a week  , so maybe 4 six hour days  or 5 five hour days . I sometimes do a bit more but rarely more than 30 hours.
occasionally I will work a saturday morning if I have a render clean, or if my partner is working a saturday.
my brain works better when I work little but often .....I find I am more productive.
but each to their own

to add to my goals , and this will greatly improve my working life ...
I have also changed my diet.... I am overweight.
but rather than say I am on a diet , I am changing my diet.
I am not focusing on my weight , just changing what I eat .... the latter should change over time hopefully.
so ... adding fruit .... in the day its fruit and maybe some eggs .
cutting down on alcohol ... my downfall.
more veg .
getting to bed early .
small steps bit by bit
i find with diets .... as soon as i go on a diet .... my brain starts thinking about food ....  ;D
so I dont call it a diet to decieve my brain  ::)roll

6000 customers and 1.1 million turnover by the end of 2025

What're you at now? If so don't mind me asking.
