Arrived at first job today to find my tank empty.  The flaming strainer had cracked opened.  Must of got a bit frozen over the cold snap.  Lasted 10 years though.

Same here, its frozen over the cold and thawed out today? water damn everywhere! I had to park the van on a hill to drain it, and vac the rest. This has happened before with the same cracked strainer bowl, i should of changed it before the cold. Good thing i had a spare, re-ordered a new one today incase? £11 off hebay. Can't buy the clear plastic bowl only??

How did you not notice that 500+ litres of water had leaked onto your driveway in minus temperatures?  ???

He was in hospital after slipping over on his icy drive 😁
