Severn Trent water have just informed me they will be fitting a water metre. Does anyone know if I can appeal this decision?Does anybody know how much it will costs to fill a1000 l tank?
Looks like the thin end of the wedge because all water companies are looking at ways to increase money. Might be good to look into rain water harvesting due to the low tds reading.

My missus doesn't have a meter so does that mean I won't be able to claim for a portion of the water bill?I suppose it does as there will be no difference in the overall bill....

Only about £30 to buy. I contact the water company at the end of my tax year and let them work it out. Save the screenshot and add it to my expenses for my accountant.
