Van signage wording
« on: December 13, 2023, 11:31:19 pm »
Hello everyone 👋🏻

I’m sign writing my newer van soon and working out the wording

Using a gutter vac would you word that as gutter clearance? Clearing?

Also how to word upvc fascia soffit gutter cleaning conservatory cleaning
Text below ⬇️

dcs
     window cleaning [] Gutter clearance🍂
                    07769*****
              Also Cleaning
      •conservatory roof’s•
      •white upvc soffit•fascia•gutters

The brackets after window cleaning will be a
QR code, there will be some water 💦 bubble

But any ideas on the wording appreciated 👍🏻

Thanks lee

I think vehicle signage is a personal thing - what one person likes another thinks is naff...

Keep it clear and simple and above all spelt correctly....

I see if I can dig out my proof which is used on our vans...

I find that no matter what the customer reads as regard to gutter and fascia cleaning... I always need to give a price for cleaning them externally, and also a price for emtying.
I tend to use the word empty, or gutter unblocking.

on many occasions in the past I have given a price for an external clean , and the customer has asked if the gutters were that full expecting them to be emptied .

so , on all quotes  these days I quote for both to avoid any confusion

Totally agree with the above we had several thinking that we were going to empty the gutters when they asked to have the outsides cleaned , so now I ask do you want the gutters emptied and downpipes unblocked or the outsides of the gutters cleaned or both , never have any issues now . I di think some were just trying it on to be honest getting something for free .

Can’t find a proof so here’s a photo…

IMO I'd make the smaller lettering on the rear doors larger. IMO of course.
We look at them, they look through them.
