Mmmmm... Well thought I'd update this as I posted op. I stand by my original sentiments ie fast delivery and cheap price but unfortunately for the 1st time I've had to deal with after sales as a battery I ordered 3 months ago won't take any charge. From the get go they were looking to weedle their way out of it asking me what I use the battery for and stating its a golf cart battery and as I'm not using it on a golf cart it means the warrenty won't be valid. (this is exactly the same battery Purefreedom have been selling to the window cleaning industry for about 20years). Wasn't having that so they arranged to collect and test (at their cost to be fair), now been told its because its cross threaded so can't carry out test and so warrenty invalid. I had no problem fitting the leads myself, they went in easily and formed a tight connection. Not impressed, awaiting final word from branch manager.

Hate to say it but I told you so , I always buy batteries from a supplier that knows what they will be used for and have that in writing that they will cover warranty if there is a problem, it does  cost a bit more but never had any issues getting faulty batteries replaced doing it this way

Hi Splash, just wondering what supplier you use for your AGM batteries,  they are powerful at 200amps each, do you use 2 for
your system, how often do you charge them, sorry for all the questions.
best regards
Larry

Hi Larry
They are usually charged each night if at home when working away they get a bit of charge when filling the tanks , I have a built in charging system that’s adjustable to different  types of batteries . I get the batteries from a firm called BBL , we use haze 200 amp AGM batteries they weigh ton and are half as big again as a normal battery, we have two electric reels , 9 kw boilers and 3 pumps per van and usually they are running 8 hours a day , batteries last about 6 years before they need replacing , but did have a faulty one that wrecked the  other one so they replaced both under warranty. Wouldn’t use anything else .
