I could make that myself 2 minutes in B&Q after cutting down and taking apart an old scrubber cover lol, another reinvention of the wheel going on there again then.

You’ve been able to buy painters pad holders like that for years and years.

Nothing beats a mop and squeegee for inside work.

You can even get them with the almost exact same handle.

Hi all. Does anyone have experience with the Moerman Gekko?

Welcome to the forum Vadim. You will notice we have our fair share of know-it-alls - NWH being a prime example.

Is there a specific kind of work you are trying to do or are you looking for general traditional cleaning equipment?

In general terms window cleaners use wfp for outside work and an applicator (mop) and squeegee for inside work. (if they bother with it)

If you are doing high inside work then you might want specialised equipment if using an applicator and squeegee on a pole won't work.
It's a game of three halves!

I once used something very similar for an inside commercial job, cant remember the make it was off gardiners website.

It worked but i never really fancied doing it again, stick to external only these days.

They are nothing new like I say they’ve been around for years it’s a painters-plasterers pad with a window cleaning sleeve over it lol,I can remember seeing them 20 years ago.

Thanx a lot, really.  At least for a new word for me in English "know-it-alls", indeed. :)

I am not quite a newbie, or rather, not a newbie at all, and since 2007 (God, 16 years ago!!!) I have been actively using your respected forum and based on this particular resource I created the WFP company in Russia and visited almost all The Cleaning Shows in UK. Thank you and Alex Gardiner a lot for this chance.

Then something happened to my login as company name (MoemGorod) here and I had to re-login with my real name (Vadim).  So, I'm glad to read you all again.

Hi, first off I don't want this to start a political debate, so if you feel it might or just don't want to say just ignore this post.
I have seen all sorts on the UK news about Ukraine and how the Russians news is 'controlled' but I'm interested to hear what you think of the war-special operation?
Don't reply if you don't want to or feel it would cause arguments. It's just that the West gets one side of the story and Russia gets another.

Hi Ched.

Your question is obvious, timely and hard to avoid.

My wife is from Ukraine, we moved to Turkey a long time ago, and my children study in the USA. I can't believe that what happened in our lives is what happened 100 years ago. I have a business in Russia and I control it remotely for a long time already well-known events, since I travel a lot. I do not welcome totalitarianism and, above all, I value freedom. I have to admit that my position in Russia is in a significant minority, much to my regret. We will hope.

(Hi Vadim, I remember you as moem gorod (my city?)!

My daughter has a University degree in Russian. She was in Moscow in 2019 but due to COVID 19 couldn't get to St. Petersburg in 2020 to study there but on-line from London.)

It's a game of three halves!

Thanks for your reply. Hopefully Putin will pull back and allow peace to return, we hope!
