If it sounds like you’ve got a tank going past your house it’ll be me reeling hose out.

We buy any van. com is a good place to start.  They will offer bottom trade for the basic van and then knock it back further on presentation. But it's a good starting point.

One of the big window cleaning companies might be interested, but they would generally lease a new van.

The tank and wfp contents aren't worth much to the trade. Having the kit inside basically limits their customers base, so I would try to sell it separately.

I would slightly disagree with the selling separate bit,

3 of my past vans I sold with the DIY setup in and they made very good money over a standard empty van - new starters just love to buy a van ready to go.

of the 3 where I wanted the set up to move over to the new one they made a little more than "we steal your van dot com" - but they were pretty knackered by the time I moved them out

I'm still being influenced by my motor trade days.

If the van was older, then I would say that it could well fall into the financial bracket a newbie window cleaner could afford. In that case, I would leave the system in.

What's a 2015 Citroen Dispatch worth?  Someone is asking £8995 for one with a 2.0hdi engine, Enterprise spec, and with 95k on the clock.
Then someone else has a 2015 Dispatch with the 1.6hdi engine and 52k on the clock and asking £5995. Is the 1.6hdi still prone to turbo failure?

Both of these are from resellers. They will have at least a grand and a half profit across the deal and have access to finance if required. (1k profit and £500 for work needed before resale, ie. interim service, valet and painting rims, etc.)

My experience.
After my trailer system, I fitted a 650 litre tank in a 51 plate 1.9 Citroen Relay swb. In 2008 I purchased an 04 plate Citroen Relay 2.0hdi Enterprise with central locking and 33k on the clock. I advertised my 1.9 diesel as a complete package and didn't get one single enquiry.
I removed the wfp system and transferred that system to the 04 plate Relay. That 51 plate van got snapped up straight away by a roofer.

I pxed a car the other week for a brand new van. I showed them a screenshot of a webuyanycar quote. Was very surprised to learn that all the dealers use the same software to produce the same quotes ( bit like the glasses guide of yesteryear).
The dealer knew exactly what webuyanycars final figure would be and wouldn’t budge.

Did you go for a Berlingo in the end?

Sort of,
Toyota Proace City SWB

It’s my car for now and general runabout. I like it, quiet, drives well. Ideal for carrying coal and muddy boots.
