i need 2 hours in the morning to wake up properly and have breakfast before i can even head out the door danny! ;D ;D ;D

You lead a sheltered life (these days) Daz, seriously.

Really though, my working day will usually be done by 3pm, occasionally later but not often. I don't run myself into the ground like some do, it's really not required whether it be domestics/commercial or National work.

I like to have a good mix of the above work, keeps things interesting, brings in better money and suits my hours.

Tbh cleaning domestics all day I'd be bored to tears within a month I reckon.

It's only stupid o'clock in the morning to people who are in bed at that time, I'm up and out for before 7 and don't need to set an alarm so I wouldnt say it's stupid o clock really.

You make me laugh mate how blinkered and set in your ways that you are.

It wasn't long ago that you were saying how mad I am for leasing my van, waste of money, never own it etc etc at the same time you were losing days work with flat batteries, failed starter motors etc.  Remember? 😂

Because you only change your mind when forced into it, ie, needing a new van quickly, hot water system giving you grief for weeks on end, extreme poles snapping and no longer suitable for everyday work after previously being the best things ever. There's countless examples.

Anyway have a good day mate, full day of domestics for me today, I may even bump into you at some point.

They are operating in the North West under this limited company (check bottom right) - http://www.capsnorthwest.co.uk/
Where am I knocking today?

This is their credit rating. I've seen worse. When Gordon Brown was the chancellor.

Waiting for the paint to dry .
Hard to deduce if the recent changes with Paul Leaving are the cause of  this mess.
I'm owed a few quid and there are some  worse  off than me .
We can assume the worst  but we may not be right.
Its a place none of us want to end up in.
I have provided service to them for close on a decade and up until now I cannot complain with payments.
It's a little worrying but at the end of the day  if we make it through a dark tunnel and they don't then who is the most miserable?
If they pull this sword from the stone then they deserve the throne they sit upon.
All the best for Caps Ltd

Really?

They've made no attempt to contact anyone and have left us completely guessing this week. Unforgivable imo.

Some business' fail, that's understandable but to me this looks like a case of illegally transferring of assets, they are still officially trading!!! More than likely waiting for the next few cheques to clear then the money will be transferred to private accounts and CAPS Ltd will then cease trading.

Trading insolvently is a crime and I'd suggest that is what is happening here.

The silence from CAPS this week has been deafening.

You won't get paid prepack job if they thought anything of you that would have contacted you and explained what was going on.

Yeah got my cheque the other day.  £41.05.. ;D ;D ;D I might just frame it

Can't believe it's been 5 years.  I put in my claim and forgot about it and expected nothing,
I did a bit of digging and when I found that they rented their offices, it was clear they had no assets so I knew there wouldn't be much left after the tax man got his. I used to work in Litigation and debt collecting when I was a very young man and know a little about Insolvency
I'm OK about it, I did well out of CAPS I turned over a fair amount from them and it was a small part of my turnover and I lost a small percentage of that. I ended up doing some work for the new firm they all went to work at after, as well

I never relied on it, contracts come, contracts go
A manager is generally someone who has been promoted to the position by someone else who didn't see them as a threat.
Hence all people are promoted to the level of their incompetence

Well said. I did quite well out of them also over the years, some very well priced work that continued on long after their demise.
