Hi guys,
I know this is the window cleaning section, but lots of other topics discussed here and some very experienced guys, so thought i would ask.
Im now doing roof cleaning, but decided to go with the softer approach of scraping and then a biocide. I already have several customers lined up.
- How long should it take approx, to scrape a bungalow roof, pretty easy access, mostly covered in moss, but not horrendous. Size of roof is around 140m2 (approx time fellas) for two people, one scraping one getting rid of the moss
- Im looking at the biocide "Algo Clear Pro" it says 5 litres will cover 1025m2 (approx) obviously water it down to get that, just wondered what you guys think of that - seems to go a long way. Cost wise wouldnt be that much if it goes that far? £20 max for the roof, seems cheap?
Finally, im looking at the best options to apply the biocide (obviously using the correct PPE)
(Options - which is best or any of these)
- My current pressure washer, (petrol engine) with long reach pole and various nozzles?
- back pack, using waterfed pole and brush it on, or use end nozzle to spray on (not fine spray)
Any help on this appreciated, just so i can work out how much to charge based around time and biocide costs, i know people dont like to discuss prices on here, so not asking for that.
Thanks in advance guys.
