Very sad indeed,really hope his son didn't actually witness the fall itself, hard enough to deal with anyway without being traumatised by that.
The Inquiry Court said his son was working on the same property heard him cry out, saw him fall then he ran down, called for help and rendered first aid. A doctor happened to be close by and he tried to save him even before an ambulance got there.
I don't think the son could have done any more than he did which is some crumb of comfort.
