Worked all week with covid....
« on: June 10, 2022, 06:27:54 pm »
Felt rubbish all week...took 2 LF tests (both  negative) on Monday and wed.i only swabbed my nose though(as it told me on the leaflet).today I did my throat first then nose and it was positive straight away....

Always swab your throat first no matter what it says on the test box!

3 other people that were at our party last Fri have tested positive this week too....there was over 50 people there so I think many more might have it!

All my work was completed this week and i even treated myself to 2 Japanese beers to wash down £22 worth of sushi to cheer myself up! ;D

Hopefully I'm over the worst of it now.....

I tried sushi once its the most disgusting thing ive ever had, I really don't get it.

Yeh had it bad first time bed ridden then had it again and it wasn't too bad just like a cold.

I carried on cleaning the first time, I think that's what made it worse i forced myself to work until it got too bad then ended up in bed for 3 days it was horrible.

Well look on the bright side …….
The Gym’s going to be empty this week. You can have the posing mirror all to yourself!

Reading your past posts Daz I understood you were an alcoholic, I am guessing now this is not the case after all?

I don't drink much but would miss not being able to.

You had a cold and continued to work, cool 😎

We had ‘delta’ in November, I’ve had worse colds.

Wife works at the hospital, the level of deceit the population was under during 2020 was astonishing. Almost all the deaths were people over 80 who seriously ill.

The Pysops were off the scale!

I know a guy who spent 2 weeks on a ventilator he nearly died.same class as me at school.his lungs are permanently  scarred.he was a non smoker (fairly fit bloke beforehand)

Also 2 guys who died in their late 40s due to covid....

Up to now its felt like a bad cold with hot and cold sweats, muscle aches and headache.

Hopefully I'm over the worst of it now👍

Why would I go to the gym when I have covid?.... ::)roll

I won't be going until I test negative on a lateral flow which will be probably another week yet....

I've hardly drank any alcohol for 19 years mate but it gets a bit boring tbh  when I'm at a party or restaurant sometimes so I allow myself the odd drink...I regularly go 4 or 5 months without a drop though...

Alcohol is no good for bodybuilding so I stay away from it most of the time to maximise gains in the gym

Your were very unlucky to know people of that age struggling, my wife was on the front line, it was very rare to see young healthy people suffer badly.

It was a nasty virus, but it was never as bad as was made out.

Now it’s like a cold, in fact it’s milder than many colds now.

We have to hope they aren’t insane enough to lock us down this winter with the inevitable spike.

My wife remembers horrendous flu years, yet no one battered an eyelid because the media weren’t shoving stats down our throats and creating fear.

Its amazing how easily fear controls. Covid has been the clearest example of that.

Fake news. Yep. Trump's the main culprit.
It's a game of three halves!
