Is it just me...
« on: December 26, 2021, 12:12:24 pm »
Or has the the last 6 months or more been the most overcast, damp, dull, wet and miserable weather ever?

I cannot remember when we last had a week of uninterrupted sunny weather. We get maybe the odd day here, perhaps two days a month (never two days of one after the other) and they're truly uplifting but we just aren't getting any continuous 'good-vibe' weather. What the fecks happened?

Happy bloody Christmas too ya bastards...

Well here in Bristol we had two weeks of dull but dry weather in December. It wasn't pretty but it was perfect for window cleaning.

No ice and fairly mild. Meant I was finished by Wednesday afternoon for the year.

It's a game of three halves!

In 2019 it rained almost non-stop from mid-Septemeber until about the day of lockdown.

Anything's better than that.

We’re a third of winter months done now,  nearly😁
I always say 6 weeks before and six weeks after Christmas are often the worst time to work with short daylight hours and crap weather.
It has been dull and damp but we’ve been able to work, well I have.
At the end of the summer if I’d have been offered a dull damp and drizzley December, but with no loss of earnings, I’d have taken it

I get what you're saying, but to me it's not just December.

It's been the whole second half of the year. Who's got sunburnt this year and been wearing shorts in October?

2019 was worse, i remember because i started to do my motorbike licence in septmeber of that year and it started raining heavily on my first day and then it rained virtually non stop for months.

It is crap at the moment though its just damp and wont dry out.

It was the mildest December I’ve remembered in Central Scotland.

Really good for work, although a bit wet. I know what you meant though. My favourite days to work are cold and crisp days, little bit of sunshine, dry weather. You can work fast and not break a sweat, and as you work it warms up to a really comfortable temp.

Next week looks shocking and wet. I bet the week I go back will be the same.  ;D gotta keep the hills green and the lochs full as they say.  ::)roll 8)

You too Daz. All the best and enjoy the holls. Even though it’s not abroad.  :'(

Systems working great mate. Not missed a beat in 3 years. Gonna get it serviced next year, but that’ll be the first one.  8)
