Gardiners new quicl loq angle adapter
« on: December 08, 2021, 11:13:10 am »
Beware the new quick loq and swivel quick loq angle adapters from Gardiners if you are using Exceed wfp tubeless set up.
You can't disconnect it directly at the brush end if wanting to change to something else or access the univalve or if internal fitting is leaking.
You have to either pull the hose through the bung enough to snip it so that the bung will slide off or break the bung to get it off then release the adapter and pull it through from the top.
Just bought a new pole and refitted the set up from my old pole when I realised the problems.......not  a problem if you don't use this set up.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

Good to know, thank you. Take it that its still possible to use with univalve just a bit of extra faff ?
Section 3 snapped on my slx 25 today.
Am going to order another because its at least 5 years old.
Being 5 years since I've ordered anything from them I'm completely overwhelmed by the options. Too much choice !
Whats my best option regards brush/jets etc. on  a 25 for all round general regular cleaning ?

I use a 35cm Ultimate brush with 4 1.2mm jets, I get more work done with the bigger brush due to better glass coverage and quicker rinsing.  When I go back to a 26cm brush for the odd job it’s like using a toothbrush😄

Thanks KS. I was deciding between an ultimate or supreme. 26 cm probably more versatile for me though as I do a lot of Victorian terrace and bay windows.

👆me too

A week now with 35 cm xline flocked brush with rinse bar

11 micro jets

Never thought I’d ever use pencil jets again
As a fan of the fan jets

But new brush mentioned is 20% quicker on the job 👍

Extra water 💦 usuage hardly noticeable
As working quicker 😊

Noticed extra weight initially
But
All good now 😊
