Roof cleaning
« on: July 23, 2021, 03:43:06 pm »
Priced a roof cleaning job up a couple of weeks or so ago.

So I got a call from her today, asking if it was ok to book it in. Sure, but we cant do anything for 3 or 4 weeks probably.

Anyway, I popped back to re-familiarise myself with the job and clarify a point or two with her. So she said on this occasion, if you can just give me a date, a start date, I can pay you in cash, now.

She also volunteered her three sons to help out, which got refused, but some people are desperate.

That’s bizarre mate, it’ll probably never happen again!

Couldn't believe it. I didn't take the money otherwise I'd just feel resentful when the job comes round.

I broke a customers roof tile on their kitchen roof a few weeks ago and fessed up. I asked her if she had a spare tile and offered to remove the broken one and push in the new tile. When it came to payment she gave me £50.00 🤔 I explained the window clean is only ever £30.00 and she said no please except the extra £20.00 for fixing my roof 😂

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience
