Diesel heater on a belt
« on: November 22, 2020, 09:44:55 pm »
After seeing recent posts on handy add ons  for belts I have decided to make my heater more compact so it can go where we go .
The new D.H.O.A.B is born !

I'm so lazy I'm getting tired of it !

That is the latest model prototype, same results from a smaller package , will be fitting it for trial this week.
Some of the parts are now water jet cut to eliminate the need for extra v bands  , the secondary water jacket has been done away with for a simpler build .
The previous tig fabricator has been kicked into touch as he has shut down again !
I am now doing the tig work from home hence the need for another trial period .
But I do have another fabricator lined up in case my welds don’t hold up , they have taken 400*c so far so should be ok

Excellent keep us posted, I’ve got a gas heater now for the time being but really want to get your diesel heater ideally.
I’m sure I’ve asked before, but how big is the diesel tank and many days does does it last on full heat?

Hi Lee , here is a pic with it next to an Xtreme 26cm , it’s a 10 litre tank , at full power 1 tank will do me 3 x 5 hour days

Great thanks.

Wow that heater looks a lot small now, will that produce the same water temps?

It has on the bench with a backpack as a van mount.
Results from a van system will differ a bit due to hose lengths and pressures

I can't wait until your manufacturing is sorted. I will be as close to the front of the queue as possible!!!
