This has always been the best place for genuine advice.
I've never employed anyone before.
Where and how do you advertise for a window cleaner. I would need somebody with a driving license.

I wouldn’t advertise, try and find someone through friends or word of mouth that’s how I got my staff , less likelihood of getting a   Poor worker

Most places you will pay to advertise, facebook is free.

Depends how you want to do it, interviews etc or the way i did which is just take them on a paid days trial, get a good idea what they are like as a person and as a worker in 1 day.

Indeed - ask for cv and a covering letter - you can get a basic feel for them before interview - taken on one last week for a 2 week trial and have 2 starting in the new year

Employing is a big step and doesn't suit everyone and not everyone is suitable for the job - trial and error

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience
