was explaining wfp today & my customer asked if id do his conservatory frames when im up & running as they are very green, now i do the house & conservatory (no frames) for £8  and yes the house on its own would be a £5 but ive no idea how long the whole cons' will take its not a big one but the roof frames are manky - any one any ideas - even wild guesses will help

yeh, but the first time i do it i wll charge him more than normal but i dont know how long its likely to take so how much extra do i charge

I don't charge any extra for the frames and always did them when trad.

I didn't increased my prices when changing over to wfp because it's quicker and easier i think.

After the frames have been cleaned the 1st time they only take a couple of seconds to do from then on.

i was only upping the price for 1 clean then back to£8 but i dont want to be scrubbing the frames for an hr for £8 i was just trying to find out how long the frames are likely to take

What i have done is give the frames a quick soaking starting at the top obviously, then once the bottom ones have had a soak i've started back at the top and found it has only taken me about and extra 10 mins to do.

It obviously depends how much muck is on the frames, but you could also work something out on your hourly rate.

If you work on a rate of £20 an hour and you think it will take that long then charge them that.

If it takes less than that then give them a fiver back and say it didn't take aslong as you thought.

Hi Beefy.

I would allow min of hour. Your price should be min £30 for the con,  not sure what prices are like round your way but to get one up  ive charged up £100.
