London window cleaners
« on: October 22, 2020, 12:32:09 pm »
Hello London borough windies.

I guess you know about the expanding ulez
Zone (ultra low emissions)

Any vehicle entering within the radius of the north and south circular next year will be up for £12.50 tax

You need a euro 6 diesel van 2016 upwards
Petrol car must be younger than 12 yrs old too.

But now on the news last night saying government thinking of expanding congestion charge too, to this area

So even if you update your vehicle you’ll be paying congestion charges

All to claim back lost revenue
Boris is blaming London mayor for blowing cash just given him
As Sadiq wants 4.6 billion more

Sadiq blaming government of being draconian

Just feels like born free, taxed to death 💀

Even People living within boroughs in these zones will be taxed

Understand cost past on to customer but
Feels like a police state ahead

Not a fan of ulez but could argue for the greater good

Congestion charge too though 😖😢

Be riding around on push bikes with ladders on our shoulders soon 🤦‍♂️

If you work in central London then your prices must reflect that.....that's why us northerners baulk at window cleaning prices down there.....you need to be charging literally triple the prices just to keep your head above water!
price higher/work harder!

We factor in all the congestion charges in our quotes and then add about £20 on top for each visit we do just un case case it goes up during the year , if it doesn’t then we are in profit more , still don’t agree with it though .
