Do they offer cheque deposits over the phone yet?
Paid a few into my Lloyds account where you simply take a pic of the cheque. Can’t see the same option with Santander.

No. Still worth it though as any of the mainstream alternatives are hideously expensive in comparison. You can send cheques in the post though.

Starling. Sole trader account you can do 4 cheques a week by photo. Business account is I think 10. As many as you want by post, pay in cash at the Post Office. No charges.

ive not had a cheque for 6 months now...all my cheque paying customers have switched to BACS payments or cash/card payment on the day

I got free business  banking for ever so I haven't paid any single penny for years at all . All I have to do is use the ATM machines for any kind of banking but that  doesn't bother me at all I'm out everyday from 5am till 4 pm so there is always one near me

I don't think santander offer this service but you can just pay them in through the cash point machines

Our branch allows us to pay them over the counter after my wife was given abuse by some ar$ehole for taking so long. We get an awful lot of cheques and they take an age to process in their ATMs.

With Santander you can put up to 10 cheques in their envelope & pay them in at any post office.
