ro-man leaking fitting
« on: July 13, 2006, 08:31:26 pm »
Got my ro set up, but cannot get the plastic T conector that leaves the pre-filters with pressure gauge connected to seal, both the threaded end and push fits are leaking, have tried ptfe tape on thread, improves but still not sealed, push fits, have re-cut pipe ends clean and square but to no avail.
Is there a better fitting i can use than the one supplied by ro-man, realy piiiiiiid off. Drew
It was this big.

I had the same problem and found that there was a problem with the t conector. After loads of attempts at contacting them they said that they would send through a spare. Nothing. So I paid for one and it was delivered the next day. Very strange but it now works fine.
I suggest you buy the conection, dont wait around for a spare coz you aint gonna get it.

Thanks Steve just been on the RO-MAN site and done as you suggested, still peed off tho need to produce water and get working, you would think they would check these things before dispatching.
