Supply water for ro system
« on: July 13, 2006, 12:08:33 pm »
Hi i am just setting up my 300gpd ro-man in my shed, i have a hose running to the shed for supply water, my question is do i connect the hose to 15mm copper pipe and connect saddle valve as you would if installing under sink for domestic purposes, or do you guys have another way of doing things, also thinking ahead do you have problems with freezing in winter do you insulate the ro and all pipework.

Regarding freezing temperatures.

YOU MUST insulate your RO and pipes otherwise you will damage the unit as well as block your pipes.

As for your connections, sorry not really sure on that one but am sure someone else will be able to answer your question.

Best wishes,

You can get a hozelok type connector from RO man to go on the end of the small bore inlet pipe, and then just a std hozelok on the end of your hose pipe, my waste also exit my garage to a drain in the same way.
