Scaffold tower for roof cleaning
« on: September 23, 2020, 12:17:50 pm »
Afternoon all...
Have got a lot of roof cleaning jobs coming in, and have done a few off ladders but not keen on carrying on like that.
Going to invest in a scaffold tower to carry out softwash cleans.
Any advice on best ones to get, thinking needs to be movable and easy to put up, and one i don’t need a mortgage for  ;D
 Any help much appreciated

Hi Benny
I have bought a diy one in the past and used it for a couple of jobs. No good for two guys and just generally crap. I have don a few roof jobs this year and just hire a tower for each job. The hire company deliver it and collect it. You don't have to store it anywhere or transport it and it costs about £100 a pop. Just add it to the bill..

As above really - scaffold needs to be trade standard or you could have insurance issues - hire for each job and charge the customer

I much prefer high access mAchine for roof work

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience
