Being new to wfp. Can I ha e faith that they will improve nxt time 🙄 and is there any good tips for a second clean I can do to make sure as nobody likes a call from md saying his windows were streaky
He was totally on board after explaining the change to wfp and understood that the first clean could do that,, ffs babtisim off fire our what, tips would be nice right now, after holding off wfp for 20yrs plz help guys

Try turning up the flow.
Also be aware if it’s a windy day this can a few issues.
You also were probably getting into all the areas you may miss when tradin.
Also remember to wipe the drips off from the top of the frame with the brush head then rinse

That looks like a nice job, not one I’d like to lose assuming it’s priced well.

I’d have gone back and recleaned for free.

you probably needed to clean it twice - I had the same many years ago - after several hours cleaning I could se streaks where I started - I heavily washed the windows again and all was good - 10 years later we still do the job but takes about 1.5 hrs rather than the 6 when I first cleaned it - never an issue with streaking either

so in short - first clean - double clean it

For your own confidence go back and look at it with him. Re clean a couple of the bad ones and the revisit to see the result.
When I changed over I told the gobbieist customer on my round I would call back to check the finish.  3 times in 2 days I cleaned that house. The results were so good she recommended me to many of her friends.
It’s a learning curve, you will get it right.

As per Darran's post. Give jobs like this two cleans the first time. Seems counter productive at the time because it looks clean after the first pass but it saves time on future cleans. I sometimes use WFP for the upper floors and trad the ground floor and doors.

It’s the frames holding dust on the cross bars. Do all the tops first with a good dose of water, you might even need to wait for the dripping to stop before dropping down to the next row. The worst panes will probably be the bottom rows when you get there, you’ll have vertical runs of spots and ‘fans’ of spots beneath any drainage channels in the frame. It will improve the more times you clean.

A cuppa then work way back with water rate higher, does that sound like a plan? I also have a out side hot tap I could fill tank up before I leave with 60deg water would that work better do ya think our just don't panic and do it twice with normal cold water

I personally wouldn’t worry about the hot water, certainly don’t put it through your RO/Resin that’s not a good idea.

Just go back and start cleaning the top panel including all frames from one end working towards the other end. Then drop back and start cleaning the second panel down once the top panel and frame has had time to drip dry. Repeat this until it’s all cleaned making sure to give a good rinse all over.

I clean plenty of similar buildings and the above will work in 99.9% of first cleans.

Good luck and don’t stress, 👍

Yep don’t panic, Just got to rinse all that dirt out but check first to see what the problem is.
Is it spotting or has the brush not scrubbed all the dirt off?
Might even be just a couple of panes he’s moaning about or even the inside.

have a good look at the windows....like dave says it might only be a few windows here and there.....but i would probably just clean the whole building again if i had the time and was a newbie to WFP........

you are using purified water to clean the windows arent you? ;D

very hot water does help with first cleans like these......no doubt about it.....but as you have a cold system then you ll still be able to do a really good job..itll just take you longer........hot water through resin is not a good idea.....

itll take you a while to get the hang of wfp....but itll come with time and experience.......
