i would turn the job down myself.......the only way i would do this job would be if next door(on the right)had a solid flat roof(they dont)and would allow me stand on it and clean the glass thats sloping towards the house from it.....id want £150....its a 2 hour job and would use approx 200L of hot water...nigel is talking out of his arse.....he seems to get worse as the years go on........ if you do take the job on you ll regret it.....itll be a pain without access from a flat roof...you ll have to pole from a ladder at an awkward angle for the glass nearest the house.......leave well alone unless you enjoy aches and pains!ive cleaned a fair few roofs like this over the years.....
A belled end it’s not bell it’s belled Daz,I’ve cleaned many little freebies over the years and yes I’ve cleaned roofs that size for free too. If a job and a domestic job is paying you say 2000 a year in my mind I think it’s worth,I don’t think actually it is worth it. A little bit of kindness goes a long way it doesn’t even have to actually be kindness it just needs to look like it is,I might be in 1 place for a 300 clean it’s not an overly long job what difference does it make to me if I take a bit of time out of my day once in a blue moon to scrub a roof clean,it’s not about the money always it’s about keeping the good ones happy. If it was a P**S pot of a job they’d be paying for it,I’m talking about jobs that give you toothache if you lose em.
Done a few Velux windows today about a nice new big footballers wife’s type place,free of course I nearly sent Larry round for another 300 notes 🤣🤣🤣. I reckon our Larrys a real plodder can’t move to quickly these days,kept em nice and sweet.
