it doesnt feel right to put any more up now...im just over half way through,the rest will go up next year......

most customers are at home now,ive never seen so many cars on the driveways/roads.....either working from home or lost their jobs overnight......

It is strange out there, I actually felt weird working today, just felt odd. Like everyone was watching this man in the street cleaning windows with no one else around!

I felt like that yesterday,  but I was more nervous about putting slips through the doors , saw it as infecting the house !
But then I thought , well the postman is still doing it , when they stop coming so will I  !

ive had customers crying today...very upset over this virus....one customer is really worried about her daughter(shes an NHS nurse).....another is scared to death and left her £10 on the wheelie bin....also her dog died last week so she was fighting back the tears.....

its quieter on the roads thats for sure and not as many planes in the sky Danny......paradoxically more customers have been coming out for a chat(at a distance!)to talk about the C word.......and have been more open in their conversation than usual..which is nice.....

Yes I agree. I’ve even met 2 customers today that I’ve been cleaning for 5 years and have never laid eyes on them before. Working from home.

i genuinely think most customers will want to keep us on.....we all know the ones that are gonna struggle big time(the late payers)certain jobs you just get a bad feeling......we will lose the odd one or two and maybe for the rest we can skip them for a month or two and still keep them as customers in the future (hopefully)......

Well, every customer Ive spoken to about it so far has said keep coming. You’re outside we’re indoors, in what theyre saying.

I lost two big jobs yesterday though, one was a complete bin job the other put back by three weeks or so, as her hubby is isolating. Between them they were worth 2K. Anyway, im just pleased with the attitude of those who are saying to keep coming.

Picked up a £350 pressure washing job, which is cool today.

Talk of being locked down is worrying but Italy isnt locked down for those who wish to work. So considering that are we likely to be  just yet?

exactly....in a lockdown situation we will still be allowed to go to work,to the supermarket,chemist,etc but thats it.....ill try and work through the next couple of months if i can.....if it becomes impossible then ill sack it off for a couple of months

My customers were ok today but no what you mean its a bit weird out there, i had to cancel an advert today with local mag, actually didn't feel good about it but need every penny at mo to go to mortgage as savings are  low, have  a few rounds coming up where im sure people will be struggling themselves so will cancel, if they say it im going to say no problem i understand as soon as things improve i will get back to you, hopefully not to many.

My girlfriend was supposed to start a new job this week but been told not to come in, so now she is jobless.

I dont fancy relying on window cleaning the next few months, cancels are coming in thick and fast, 5 this week already

I’ve offered to volunteer at my local nursing home, working in the kitchen prepping food which will free up one of the staff to do some caring.

14 members of staff are isolating now which is 1/3 of the workforce.
