Any of you guys recommend the sky vac atom  for residential  work ,
 not 100 percent on pricing do you charge per metre .
Also how do you get round clearing downpipes you must have to go up a ladder if sucking from the top doesn’t work.

Should be okay, but they have not been adapted for gutter cleaning. If the filter gets soaked, the suction falls off a cliff. The poles are very fragile and heavy. the entrance cup on the vacuum creates a large blockage point, anything over 20' high it's like using a whip.

You should have a minimum clean to start of with and stick to it  there people advertise round my way gutters cleared £50     I charge £120   front and back all flushed and checked for leaks anything upto   3rd storey could be £150  to £170  but that's separate clean  ie gutters only  if I am cleaning the windows I will do the gutters bit cheaper

I may be wrong but aren’t the sky vac atom set ups 38mm Poles?
If so I’d look at 51mm pole bore set ups instead and you’ll get a lot less blockages.

I’ve been the same pal, I’ve bought and sold 2 guttervac sets now and have tried to drop the gutter clearances the last few years and stick to glass but they do pay well and I always say to myself I could jump on them if it’s raining too heavy etc but I never do lol
I just found most gutter jobs I do or did I was quicker just throwing the ladders up and going up with the gutterpro tool and scraping them out in minutes!
Always said gutter vacs aren’t all that myself as there’s jobs you can’t get the vac head into but then again they are useful for those difficult to reach jobs or where the surface is abit dodgy for the ladders!
I was always happy enough with my £3-400 sets from gutter clearance systems though.

I've got one, it's a great little tool, far more powerful than it looks!

Got up a ladder a few times to clear out the odd swan neck, but nothing drastic.

Spinaclean are also excellent to deal with.

I'm like you, busy with the windows but sometimes the custys ask, so I am happy to do it.

It's all extra dosh!

Also, on Saturdays, Mrs Window Cleaner likes to go food shopping (and I don't!). Nuff said!
