George Back-up
« on: January 08, 2020, 05:15:40 pm »
Hello

My PC recently died & foolishly I'd only relied on the online George back-up.   I emailed (support@georgesytems.co.uk)  4 days ago, sent reminders & I'm getting no reply to my request for a copy of my back-up file.
Has anyone else had issues with George? Never had any problems at all until now.

Excellent software & always been very helpful in the past, just hope they haven't closed shop or something.

Cheers
I live in my own world but it’s okay. They know me there.

Just be patient, Paul takes a while to reply sometimes.

Just because the computor has died (wont boot up) doesnt mean the hard drive is dead, any decent computor repair place will be able to read the hard drive and make you a copy.  George automatically backs up to your hard drive on closure so it will all be on there just  find the files and back up from there, I personally back up to an external USB Drive and George prompts you to do this on closure.
