Problem with booster pump
« on: January 02, 2020, 01:51:43 pm »
Hi, we changed are 4040 ro membrane and pre filters. But since then the booster pump is start stopping all the time. I have the Clarke booster pump. If I discount the hose from the 4040 ro the pump stays on all the time like it should. I have taken the membrane out and checked I have it the right way round.

Hi my ROs have 4 red washers on the outlet end when l changed mine over l forgot to put these on and the system would not fill, also could be an air lock in the system, try disconnecting parts of the system and try running the pump, l would start at the pre filter end and work my way to the tank, this way you should find the problem , hopefully

Thanks. I have tried it before the filters and after and the pump doesnt cut out. It only cuts out after I connect to the RO. The water is flying out of the waste. The ro is working as its  bringing the water down to 9 from 360
