You could also equally say that cold water users want to justify the fact that they can do just the same job in the same speed with cold.

I’ll always have a hot water system for as long as I’m window cleaning now. It works for me, if cold works for you, then great.

Oooh mr grumpy 🤪 - I’ve used hot - it’s more comfortable to use and at the end of the day makes the day easier and I could probably get an extra house clean in but 4.5k plus running  costs is (IMO) a crazy business decision - for one man bands I see the attraction and that’s fair enough but it’s a luxury not a necessity

I have used cold since day one but want hot for conny roofs, facias and commercial jobs. Can't justify £4k plus so do you think I should go immersion route or L5 boiler?

If you don't want to invest in a professional hot water heater for your business then I wouldn't bother.....lpg is too dangerous and comes with insurance issues.....immersion doesn't get the water hot enough to make a real difference to add ons and first cleans

Connects don't start rusting until there 10 years old....I'll have a new van again by then...

Lpg is fine and doesn’t come with insurance issues, Aplan are fine about it, £10 a week in gas and had no issues for 6 years with mine, yes someone might have had a issue but someone might get run over crossing a road, I wouldn’t dream of paying 3-4 grand on a diesel heater

Each to their own but your kidding yourself......you will NOT be insured mate if something goes belly up.....

Their nowhere near as good as professionally fitted diesel heaters in regards to reliability(plus no frost protection).....

C'mon Daz, you used LPG L5 - and most of that time harped on about how good it was - only when it started falling apart did you see the light (quite literally) - many have used gas without blowing themselves up - its not my choice - but immersion is a great option and easily gets the water hot enough ( downside you need it on for 5-6 hours overnight ) but when you have a something like 600Ltrs between 50 and 70 degrees in the tank it stays that temp for hours. all for the cost of £60 and 2 hours fitting

I’m happier than the pair of you , I hit the magic on demand temperature today with 20*c feed water , and that is not even running at full setting , I can see 70*c as the tops for on demand 😁
