New filters
« on: April 05, 2019, 06:27:12 pm »
Further a previous thread I have replaced my filters as suggested. HF5 for my 4040 .
Do I have to let the water from the tap run through the filters for a period of time or can I produce water immediately

I think they say its best to run the filters for a bit not connected to the RO ,more so for the carbon block filter to remove dust particles which would foul the RO
I'm so lazy I'm getting tired of it !

I think a lot depends on how often and long you run the system I have never flashed and get about three years out of the 4040
