hi,all this may sound a bit stupid but my machines just arrived today,i have just about every solution i need but no defoamer,can i run the machine without defoamer in the tank? i ordered some today but will be a few days before it arrives

Should be no problems , keep an eye on the waste tank for foam build up .
If you wanted , you could buy silicon lubricant spray from your local toolshop ....it will defoam also , you can use the spray then to keep your brass quick connects lubricated .

I don't use defoamer all that often however its always on the van since i had a job where the entire lounge had been cleaned with vanish foam
. I use prochem powdered defoamer as it can be sprinkled on really bad spots too.
