Ive been cleaning a village Pub windows for 5 years which  is part of a group of nine other Pubs and a small hotel. Last month all their window cleaning was taken over by a big  firm and the Pub managers were told to sack their current window cleaners.
All this happened in since i had last been there. So I turned up this morning to be met by the manager who told me that the this company turned up cleaned the windows she said that they had done such a bad job she spoke with the MD and refused to have them back. She also spoke with the owner of the group and said that she wanted to carry on with my services because they should be supporting local people and that my standard of cleaning was far superior. I just wanted to share this with you all because I know a lot of you guys say that they is no loyalty in commercial work and the Big National Companys are ruining the industry.
Isn't it nice to know that you are appreciated and I got one over on the Big Boys.
 Have a Good Easter Weekend

So who is this slap and dash "big contractor"?

Well done you and the manager for sticking to her guns.
It's a game of three halves!
