Learning from mistakes
« on: February 04, 2019, 09:18:25 am »
Hi all
I have previously installed my own tank in my existing van and I will be soon purchasing a new van to do the same. I have learnt many things over the years like making sure I have easy access to the DI vessels for re filling but my question to you is, how or what would you change in the back of your van to make your working day that little bit easier/ more practical?   Would you change things for cosmetic reasons?
I like the idea of using plastic piping to connect rather than normal hose.
Many thanks

Although it would depend on how easy it is to be able to heat your van during the Winter to stop everything freezing up.
I might consider quick release fittings on pumps and hose reels so it's easy to remove those items on cold nights.

That’s a great idea Andy, Simon, what piping/ hose would you use and how would that connect to the  DI and pump?  Sound like a very neat way of doing it
