Invoicing with george
« on: December 13, 2018, 04:41:19 pm »
Been mucking about with George trying to find a way to add vat as a line on my invoices. Wanted it to be a bit more professional than just “price inclusive of vat”
Now I know I could ask them but probably quicker to ask here
Thanks

If you elaborate on Paul's suggestion on how to do it then other's who use George could find it helpful in the future.  ;)

Here’s what Paul sent me from support

Run George, go to System/Settings/User and tick the VAT Registered box. Then click the VAT tab and set up the VAT Rates.
All your existing Jobs will have been set to VAT rate 1. Select a Job and go to the Job Details 3 screen to change any that don’t need VAT

Thanks Richard, very helpful; I guess most on here aren't vat registered or if they are they might not use George anyway.
It's a game of three halves!

I’m not against going over to another system , it’s just I haven’t found a reason to yet. And although it takes a day or so the support is still there. 50 quid an I’m still getting my money’s worth seven years later !!
