To answer the question, its the extreme you want charlie

Lighter, stiffer, but wont last as long, more fragile

no idea mate.......i use an SLX 25 as an every day pole and find it a doddle to use with ultimate and xtreme brushes.....any higher work then i use an xtreme 47....
price higher/work harder!

Yes I have the slx great pole.  But take the bend out less tired at the end off the day, but the bend helps.

Can't comment ont he supermax but if your looking to make your working day easier I can recommend the Xtreme poles. I have an SLX25 and an Xtreme 22 and the difference between in use all day is very noticeable. The X22 is my everyday pole and If I broke it tomorrow I'd replace with another immediately, no hesitation.
As has been noted, they are not as robust as the SLXs but they are a good pole when treated properly.

Hi Charlie,
Yeah, there is much less whip in an Xtreme pole, lighter and more rigid than the SLX, but you do need to be a bit more careful in looking after them than with an SLX.  Keep on top of maintenance and be careful how you shut open windows if you have to.
But they are great poles. Worth the extra money in my opinion.
Check out the pole specs on Gardiner website for weight differences between the SLX and Xtreme.
The SuperMax  is heavier than the Xtreme.

if i had an injury(shoulder problems etc)then id be using an xtreme 25 for my work as their the lightest.....just not the most durable....
price higher/work harder!
