Shelf life of chemicals

Just been going through the stores , have numerous chemicals , powders and concentate , half jars , be about 7 years old
Also some microsplitters and protector ,
Are they still any good or time to ditch and start again - just hate to waste stuff

My thoughts would be ,give the m/splitters a shake and away you go, and as long as other products are air tight and frost free, crack on... Simon

Got some solvent based as well as water based protectors - wonder if they are ok .

Solvents should be fine, although I my self dont use them anymore, HandS means water carriers are safer all round. imo. Simon

Powders will be fine. Liquids you need to check for any seperation. Protectors do degrade so wouldn't risk using them.
