just got back from the gym again.thats 3 days in a row!
Have you started lifting to failure yet, or are you still mincing around in there?
of course i do tosh.what would be the point in lifting weights aimlessly with no intensity and focus?(like 3/4 of the people in there).
what makes me laugh is theres usually a few skinny guys there 25 years my junior (usually lifting heavier weights than me!) yet im 10 times the size of them in all areas,shoulders/chest/arms/back etc.......
its nothing to do with how heavy the weights are,its working the muscle hard that your working(isolation/peak contraction/good form etc)to failure...it helps that i eat like a horse too...
...also i only rest 60-90 seconds between sets.
what annoys me is that most people in the gym spend half their time messing about on their phones.they should ban them altogether IMO....some are on facebook,others are taking pics and videos.,others are chatting away,one guy came up to me and said is it ok if i post this video on facebook(im in it)
...you do get some really fit women in my local gym though so thats a bonus.....
