Didn't think it would have arrived so quick.  The power functions are different so it's powered on by the flow control to your set speed and you need to turn it right down to power off or with the flow control turned off the rocker switch will turn it to full power. Charger needs a good hard push to connect it properly or the kobold charger fits easier.
Ordered some couplings from ebay to use with it, seem just like any other but cost less for buying the three pack and sent from Pitlochry! Lovely wee town but it's in the middle of the wilderness.

And the filter isn't metal which is good if using some chems.

It's usually the pump that's crap on these.....not a good flow or pressure..
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

Back packs (2) I've had one was Gardiners, other wcw.

Maybe it's me Daz but thought charger's were poor quality, had another sent from Gardiners no problem.(charger).

But just think back packs are not up too much.

That's why I bought two!  :) If one works well then I can sell the other if it's in my road. But to be honest I don't see any difference between backpacks, there all made the same way.

Isn't it easier just to make your own pump box and fit it to a trolley and away you go.   Most of you stick your backpack on a trolley anyway, so why not go the full distance.
Electrical box, small 3 amp pump, 7ah battery, pulse width modulator, voltmeter and a on/off switch.
Easy to repair or replace any parts and simply secure onto  a trolley of your choosing. Make it as simple or as complicated as you want

I've done that before with a sureflo and varistream but I found the air lock a pain, I mainly used for the tank but I could stick it on a barra as well.
The backpacks don't have the air lock issue and with this one I'll just carry it around as it's only 16l and it's got a better handle. It's to make the odd job easier but for talking sake if I were to get someone out again I'd stick them in a street with the backpack and drop off containers every few houses.
