I've been asked to clean thick moss from a roof it's like a green carpet has grown on it.
Single and 2 storey building with very thin tiles so no way could I walk on it.
To sit on a roof ladder and scrape would take forever and to Jetwash would create so much mess.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

hire a cheery picker and  don't pressure wash as can cause potential damage as roof may not be felted underneath
just scrape off and this will drastically look better but this will take time so allow more than you think.

By the time you have scraped the roof you could of pressure cleaned it and sprayed with a biocide.
Give your customer the options and then charge accordingly for time and access equipment req ect .
If you are not experienced in cleaning roofs then pass it on to someone who is

If you don't like it don't take it on. If it's old rosemary tiles and they're covered in moss then you could be opening a can of worms.

They aren't  Rosemary tiles so that's not an issue.
Thanks for your replies so far
.I've been looking at spraying something like Benz biocidal wash or simply gone.
In both cases it says just spray it on and leave it.It will slowly destroy the moss.
Gutters might end up full but that's easily sorted.

Any further input would be welcome.

200-1 my arse thoughts were it would be applied at a higher concentration on heavy growth. 200-1 would be on a regular maintenance basis.

1-200 is a top up treatment to prevent re-growth applied frequently if need be, not the initial treatment. Will change that on site just realised that was on.
