Question for P @ F
« on: November 10, 2017, 05:52:22 pm »
Are you still using the Gardiners green pu hose on your reel, is it any good?
I'm thinking of buying 100m.
Thanks
Robbo

Hi Robbo , yes i am still using it ,  it is very good , i dont treat it any different than microbore with regard to pulling it around brickwork and letting cars drive over it , it is doing very well wear wise .
In the warmer temps it would lay really flat , but as the temps have now dropped it was starting to get a slight coil about it , since i run hot through the colder spells it isnt an issue anymore , as long as you are prepared to unreel the whole lot once a week to get the few twists out you should be alright .
To put it as honest as i can , i would not like to use it without hot in the colder spells for fear of it being a trip hazard , if you are one for good hose management you should not have an issue .
But at £50 per 100m it has to be worth a punt , if you dont get on with it as main hose then you will have pole hose for life , i find it way better than all season or the heavy duty rubber stuff that Alex does , i think others call it Lite 5 , it also copes very well with univalve if you use one .

Rich
I'm so lazy I'm getting tired of it !
