So now that i have a full time employee helping me whilst im on the sick so to speak, i'm trying to bring in other work to top up the round because my employee wants 40 hours a week, and i've only been working 30 hours a week of windows. I am bringing more window cleaning work in, working towards 40 hours but that will take a few months to build the round up.
Until then i am taking on as many Conny Roofs, Gutter Clearing and FSG Cleaning jobs to top up the rounds. This week we have £750 of addon jobs alone booked in which is really good as they pay well too. As a general rule though i dont do alot of Addon Jobs previously, going forward though i'm keen to do more. Especially on days where its windy or rainy, could have a backlog of jobs ready to be done.
How can i get more addon jobs, out of my existing window cleaning customers? Should i tell every customer in person that we do addons and provide free quotes? Or should i design a flyer telling them all regular customers get 10% off FSG/Gutters/Conny Roof jobs? Or even i could text a load of my customers saying we currently have 10% of all addon jobs throughout the winter?
What do you think guys, whats the best way to let customers know that i dont just clean windows. Need to promote addons without being too in their face and pushy like a desperate salesman! LOL
Throw me ideas people
