Hi all, and to all those of who replied to my previous posts...Cheers

Ok, if you were to start out all over again, what would you do differently and how did your round come together i.e how long did it take to start making a living, how many customer did you aquire during your first months.

I appreciate that it is all down to the individual but as I am just starting out, I am very intrested in your experiances.

Ok many thanks
Dave.

Hi Dave,

Firstly, make sure you have all the equipment ready.

My main change would be pricing, its easy to get into the desperate canvassing syndrome and start to price cheaply just to get the business when you first start out.

Set out your hourly rate and stick to it, you will find the work out there and this will save you having to put the prices up later on or just eventually binning them.

Smart literature, take time to develope the right canvassing leaflet.

NEVER deliberately undercut another w/c.

Good luck and best wishes,

I think pricing is everyones downfall when starting out.

I've just about got rid of all that now or managed to get the price up.
