Review wanted on CFR ECO 500
« on: March 14, 2009, 10:29:16 am »
I saw the CFR ECO 500 at the cleaning show and was impressed by it, but instead of believing everything that sales people tell you, I thought I would ask for a unbiasled review from those who have one.

The eco 500 is a new addition to the cfr range.I was told its a replacement for the cfr400.The guys at amtech were, i think, a little bit disappointed the 400 was discontinued!!.I'm not to sure of the difference's other then the size of pump, but it will perform very well.

If you've not owned a cfr in the past, then it can take a little time to get used to using. The recyclying feature dose work and you can achieve some very good results.Stick with using cfr cleaning products or Amtech approved and you shoudn't go far wrong.

The tooling is second to none.

good luck

i have the pro 500 p/h & the 400 machines, both are very effective... the eco 500 i believe is the machine that replaces both of them & also as i have been told its for lazy cleaners that cannot be bothered to clean out their systems properly..... & it uses a different wand, a 2 jet wonder wand, it cannot be used with the foresaid machines...

I have the 400 and I am also waiting to hear what people think of the new eco 500.
The 500 has 500psi pump, 2 vacuums and internal heater. It also filters to twice the level of the old 400. The delay in production of it was due to problems with the filter system but they say that it is all sorted now.
If it is indeed better than the 400 then it will be an excellent machine.

Anyone able to comment on noise level for this machine - would it be considered a 'quiet' machine? are there porty machines known for this quality - and is it right what someone said above about it can only be used with wonder wand - surely not?

thanks - I know of one for sale is all

Id go for an inseries 6.6 enforcer ... and add the Ashbys muffler , bet it would be more silent ...and way more powerfull ,  unless u spoted a Cfr real cheap , but they seem to be up for sale a lot , which might be telling in itself
