this has been talked about before but what is the best way to connect the hose from the pump to the hose reel only had enough of peeking hose lock connectors what do other people use thanks.

Gardiners also do the female part with 1/2 inch barb,I've ordered some today.

Use O clips or jubilee clips to secure your hose to the barb.

 I fitted a Gardiners Brass Swivel Elbow connector to my Hose Reel about a year ago, i put PTFE tape on Hose Reel thread to
 make it more water tight, has worked great with no problems, no leaks whatsoever.
