If its a window cleaning pole pump. No its will cycle and switch on and off when the pressure builds up.

For an RO membrane to run correctly, you need both pressure and flow to be the correct level.

Unfortunately as slapdash mentions, a standard window cleaning delivery pump would not be man enough to get to the constant pressure and flow rate you would need.

I use this diaphragm pump purchased from the good old ebay pages. Ive been usingbit for about 17months now without problems and its a 70psi pump.
I top up my ibc tank once a week for about 15 - 24 hrs at a time and leave the pump on during that time. For me this has been good.
