Why wont my NEW fan jets work right??

Hi guys,

Just bought a brand new brush fitted with fan jets and the one pictured on the right doesn't seem to work properly???? It sprays too far out of the sides!

The one on the left works perfectly.

They are both exactly the same jets and are brand new!!

Any susestions?
