Indian Sandstone

I remember a thread on here about Rotten Indian Sandstone. I can't find it but am having a sandstone patio laid later in the year.
The guy laying doesn't want to use the supplier I want him to use so I was looking for a heads up on what to look out for? Also how thick should the slabs be?
Also anyone recommend a suitable impregnating seal.
Thanks
Andrew

Purchased ours from Rockery Centre in Sandy not far from you, brother in law recommended , he is a groundworker.
Nice stuff went for calibrated for ease laying, down to your contractor.
