Over the last couple of weeks the van has been smelling more and more like a hospital bio hazard bin.

So I decided to clean it out, my oh my what a state. I had to remove the seats, centre console and wash everything with disinfectant.

The seats themselves had years of built up dirt and grime from the last 4 years of muddy wet winters. It was so hot over the weekend i actually got the power washer out, soaped them up and power washed them and let them dry out in the sun.

Everything looks brand new, and the seats look lovely and fresh. More importantly yesterday when off to work, the van smelled lovely. 

Has anyone else had to take drastic action like this with thier van?

Nope, just dont let it get to that state in the first place.
I empty rubbish as it builds up,   but i do carry a canister of fabreze air freshner lo

Had proper expensive waterproof seat covers from first having van so no fishy seats for us !

i cant stand messy,dirty vans,houses,cars,etc.i like dirty minded women though.

.....although i once got invited back to a very attractive young ladies house and when i got there it was a real mess!(cat litter tray overflowing in the kitchen and rubbish everywhere)i just said "sorry love but no thanks!" and just walked off!!

funny thing is ive seen her in the gym a few times lately and she just blanks me now!
