customer says fabric texture changed....

Hello, cleaned single cushion for customer by hand using towels and m/splitter, couple of marks which have all gone, 40/60 linen /cotton solid grey colour, Customer says feels rough, going back Monday ,any one had similer and correct response/remedy if necessary? Cheers, Simon

could be lots of things including the owners imagination  ...    but it could be a residue from the dried out sodium carbonate of phosphate or whatever they call MS these days . These are very cheap unsophisticated products ... like a good detergent with most of the ingredients removed .
So it could be something like NO1 or NO3 here ...

Alls well, Customer rings first thing this am and says after the weekend it all seems normal, even though wife thinks its slightly different.... Thanks for that! Alls well that ends well. DV Simon
