Here's a thing about pure water.....
« on: June 01, 2006, 11:05:50 pm »
Well now, here's a thing I have never encountered before!
I am now in my 20th year window cleaning, still my first year wfp.
But today was a first...
I thought, from a distance it was tea spilled on a window from above, but no.
I got stuck in without looking too close, but it wouldn't clean off with wfp!
It went all white and lumpy.
You are now thinking egg...Well, yes it had been there baking on for about 4 or 5 weeks, so you could be forgiven for thinking... egg.
It was VOMIT!  Yeeuucchhh!
About a pint spread over 4 windows.  Took me half an hour with all the tools and detergents I have, including gloves.. to clear it.

NO, WFP DOES NOT REMOVE SUN BAKED HUMAN VOMIT!

And before any smart Alex replies...I tried HOT WATER...no good...
Only Soap, Scrub, and Scrape...

Then I had my sandwiches.  mmmmm..  yum, yum ;D

As a young-un, I cleaned sick from a window that opened inwards using beer mats and a bar towel.  I wouldn't have said it came up great; but it stopped the NAAFI manageress calling out the duty officer to jail me.

I never could play 'pass the pickled onion' without chucking my guts up!
